Erzulie performs her joyful and nuanced style of belly dance at several Arabic, Turkish and Greek venues in New England, including Byblos, The Red Fez, Athenian Corner, and The Peabody Coffee House. She is well known for her expert zill playing, strong and sexy floor work and inspired improvisation to live music. She is also featured on the cover of on Fred Elias’s latest album, “Elegant Music for Belly Dance”.  If there is live belly dance music in Boston, you will find Erzulie there!


Erzulie has studied with some of Boston’s most famous instructors including Sabrina, Phadrea and Najmat. She now teaches belly dance workshops and classes throughout the East Coast and is co-director of the Carolingian Middle Eastern Dance Troupe based in Cambridge, MA. She is a patient teacher who has developed several ways to explain dance concepts so that all her students benefit.


She is also the founder of the http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nebellydancecalendar/ —a free, self-serve yahoo group for New England belly dancers, teachers and promoters so they may list their classes, workshops, performances, and events.
